need your opinion on a transmission or clutch issue
i have a 95 original vtec that i just had the engine swapped out with a h22a because a rod went out on my h22a1. Along with the swap i had the mechanic install a new clutch and flywheel (ACT hdss and ACT flywheel) with a new oem throwout bearing. I got the car back and the next day I start having this issue while im just cruising along. theres no effects to the engine rpm however the car starts jerking like its losing power to the wheels.
Wats this sound like to you guys. I start my car, clutch in and in neutral then release the clutch pedal and there's a nastry knocking/grind coming from the engine bay (in neutral too). I have a hard time shifting into the gears. There's no sounds while the clutch is pressed in. If i get it into 1st and try to drive, the sound comes back as i release the clutch. and the car is all jerky like the axle are seizing. I was just wondering if anyone had the same issue or is more mechanically inclined than me when it comes to transmissions. Any help would be appreciated. i keep getting mixed answers, some saying tranny, some clutch. thanks guys
