When i make a fast left turn or brake hard the (!)(P) light comes on. Now normally this comes on when ABS kicks in but it did not feel like ABS was engaging.
I live on a bad street so to get onto the main road I have to make a quick left turn. And half way through the (!)(P) light comes on.
Not sure if I should be concerned, but I thought i'd get some insight.
Which red light comes on? I'm not sure what you are talking about? The red brake indicator in the dash? The oil pressure indicator?
If its the brake indicator that comes on, possibilily the brake fluid is low and is causing the sensor to trip when you turn?
Or if its the oil pressure lamp, maybe the oil is low?
Sorry I can't help much without knowing which light it is,
Eddie
He is talking about the brake light. The oil one only comes on when oil pressure is very low either meaning you are very very low on oil or that there is a massive leak(ie seal going out). I would check your brake fluid first because the turning thing makes it sound like low fluid is the case. If the fluid is low check your pads as well. If they are very low that is one reason why the fluid is low.
