im really confused on what sensor is which i have a 96 h22a theres a black sensor above the oil filter right under the head its black is that the oil pressure sensor or the knock sensor? theres also one on the bottom with a screw i cant figure out which one is which if its a knock sensor then ill just run it without but i like vtec so need to know if its an oil pressure sens that i broke =[ heres a pic of the bottom one i couldnt get to the top one.

Top one is the knock and bottom is the oil sending unit, get ready to shell out over $160 for a new knock sensor.

Fix your oil leaks, they're too easy to not fix.

thanks for the quick reply, im not throwing a knock sensor cel do i need one for a h22 in a 94 si p13 obd1 ecu? im throwing a 21 cel for vtec selonoid so wanted to make sure that i didnt break the oil press sensor, i forgot to silicone my valve cover gasket =] all happy now, just replaced a head gasket now fishing out all the small stuff =]

He can get a knock sensor under 20 bucks on ebay. works just fine. Same as the oil sending unit. under 20 bucks

So youre saying you dont have a knock sensor on it, and its not throwing a cell? lol. The h22 does need the knock allow vtec to engage. Reason you have the Vtec Solonoid is probably because of your knock. When my knock was out. I also threw that code. Also make sure you wire the vtec right. Good ground for the switch too.
