Need some info on bleeding a clutch

So I just put in a new clutch and all I have to do now it bled it. Here's the thing I think im doing it right I everything hooked up right the hose to the nipple of the cylinder. Fluid is pumping out just fine im holding the pedal to the floor getting the air out it's working fine. But it's getting little pressure im not sure if I have to keep doing it longer or what. Also when I open the bleeder valve I have zero pressure again and I see air bobbles in the tube again. And when I start the car I have no pressure again and I have to gears it just wont move. Now everything is now I got the whole clutch kit everything is line up just right. Just now sure what the hell is going on.

Having two people is ideal.. when you feel the pressure build up, close the nipple and put the fluid back in the reservoir... and repeat. you will see the bubbles in the tube getting smaller and smaller.. you want to keep bleeding until the fluid comes out without bubbles... you have to be careful while you are pumping the clutch. if the fluid gets too low in the reservoir then you will get air in the line(hence why you need two ppl).

yup, what he said ^

For what it's worth, it took me around 20-30 minutes by myself to fully bleed the system. I didn't start noticing pressure until maybe 10-15 mins in. It's not something instantaneous. It's a long system for the air bubbles to travel through, give it some time.

make sure you have enough fluid in the reservoir. also before you disconnect the bleeder hose make sure you tighten the nipple so that air cannot escape nor enter the system. once you put the fluid back into the reservoir..hook up the bleeder hose to the nipple and then open the system up again. opening the system prematurely or removing the hose without closing the nipple will cause air to enter your system. like SnsLude said it can take awhile. i know i was bleeding mine for like an hour.

What steps are you taking in bleeding it? You might be doing it wrong.
