Need quick help deciding on lip!!!

hey everybody, I have the opportunity to buy a front and rear lip kit that is made by value sports if any of you have seen it. It's a knock off of the jdm lip they make in japan. Anyways it's pretty sweet and I can get the front and rear for $200 which is a good deal but it does need reinforcement and a crack fixed on it which I can do but is a big hassle. I have to decide by tonight and I'm not sure whether to get that kit, fix it, and have a very original cool looking lip kit or get the wings west urethane lip which I like but is more common. I guess my main question is what is the durability difference going to be between the fiberglass kit and wings wests urethane kit? Also what would you guys do if you were in my situation??

that's the jdm type lip obviously. The rear lip is pretty small and I'm not even sure I'd use it but my main concern is for this lip or the wings west

Well, depending on how low your car is, and how crazily you drive (i.e, careless) the fiberglass COULD be a bad idea, b/c when you hit fiberglass against the ground, it likes to shatter and/or crack. Urethane still gets damaged, but it'll just shred the plastic, and the paint will come off. That value sports lip, IMO, is okay...kinda bland, although JDM-style.

well depends on what you want... the WWRS kit is kinda getting played out just like every lip kit. But it still looks great!

The smaller JDM lip kit looks good, it flows with the car. But it looks simple/bland/plain. You can say the same about the OEM 5th gen one too lol.

Do what you want... keep in mind though you get what you pay for usually... and you might be asking this question again in a month when the lip dies

I think that lip looks real good. Its sleek and flows with the car good.

Thanks guys, I've decided against the value sports lip because of how much work needed to be put into it but am not trying to decide between the hiro and the wings west. I'll probably just get the wings west even though it is being used a lot just because of the fact that it is urethane and the hiro lip, though awesome is pretty low hanging and would probably be apt to crack. Anybody have experience with the hiro lips?
