Need A Pic Of This - Honda Prelude Forum

My friend has a 93 4 WS prelude. She had a sterio installed, and the dumb ass who put itin thuoght that the computer on the back seat was a stock amp, and he cut all the wires to the computer and teh 4 ws computer. I was able to wire it back teh best icould but the 4WS light is on and it isnt working. Can someone please anyone with a 4th gen get me a colored pic of the wiring hanress. Please If youcould pull out the harness and take pics of it and try and flaten the harness so i can see the connections. I need to make sure i got all the wires done right. Youwould be my hero if you could get these pics. Please i really need the 4ws picture. The car is running with no Check Engon Light. But i would like pics of the whole thing anyway. Please Help.

If no one gets you a pic, I'll scan the helms, but a real photo would help you more I would think.

Take the 4WS ecu out and smack it into the face of whoever cut the wires. Then make them pay for a professional to install it properly.

You shouldn't be touching the ecu if someone else fuct up, it's their fault, their responsibility.

yea i know the guy is a idiot. He is her friend so she cant really do anything about it. But i really need a colored pic of this. Can any ofyou guys help me out? please?

He cut all the wires? You should be able to match up wire colors and just splice away...
I don't have a good digi-cam, but I do have a helms with the 4WS diagram, but I don't think thats what you'll need.

I may not completely understand, but why can't you just match up the colors and re-connect them?

Whoever cut that is an idiot, and shouldn't be allowed to hold a wire cutters and screwdriver. EVER. Factory amp

the prblm with matching them up is that there are more than one of the same color, and more than one of the same color witha stripe. I just need a pic of it all. Anyone help?

1 word - SOLDER. do not use butt-end connectors, at least one will likely fail. use solder and shrink tubes. This is one thing that you can't afford to do half-assed. The guy that did that is the biggest *(*%)(*& idiot.
