I finally got my student loan money and i have extra cash to waste (who needs books anyway? )...i am looking to get a complete H22 5sp swap, USDM or JDM...the cheaper the better as of now...i went to an auction and bid today on a 95 vtec hit in the rear but if that doesnt go through i am going to need another swap car...if a complete JDM swap goes for 2000 how much for a USDM? 1200? 1500? if anyone is selling there swap let me know...i am located in New York

Complete JDM swaps usually cost about $2300-2400 for a motor in good condition, with low milage from a respected seller. USDM swaps can sometimes be MORE expensive than JDM swaps because there are fewer headaches when installing them. A USDM swap is going to have significantly higher milage, unless you find an H22a4 swap from a late model Prelude. I doubt you are going to get ANY complete H22 swap thats in good shape and not stolen for less than $2100. Factor in tools, a Helms, exhaust modification, new fluids, and other supplies, and your gonna be looking at LEAST $2500, probably more.
