Need to lose as much weight as possible

Ok so i have a 1994 prelude vtec. I want to lose as much weight as possible. I plan to auto cross or drag race it and want it as light as possible, i will be removing the black leather interior and getting two lightweight front seats and five point harnesses with a lightweight steering wheel and air bag delete. what else can go and what under the hood can go other than p.s. a/c? any body want black interior panels or rear seats?

one of the things u can do is, you can swap the usdm heavy arse metal front grille bracket for the light arse jdm front plastic grille bracket. I guess they can be also called bumper supports. The thing that holds your grille nostrils. JDM are wayy lighter.

here is the link 92 96 JDM PRELUDE FRONT GRILLS | eBay

if you take pictures of your interior panels and post them in the classifieds someone will surely pick them up if you ask a decent price...and if you are taking pics you should start a members ride thread if you dont already have one...

-Cruise control
-ABS
-SRS
-A/C
-P/S
-Lightweight battery
-Traction bar
-Light wheels
-Sound deadening
-Undercarriage coating (the stuff in the fender wells and under the car, more weight there than sound deadening)
-Stereo system
-Dry carbon hood and trunk
-Gut the doors, mainly the bars inside that protect from side impact
-Lexan windows
-Every interior piece other than the dash and seats
-Remove the sunroof then take the outer panel and have it welded into the hole by a pro who can make it look as if the car didn't come with one.
-Inner fender liners and front splash shield
-Lose the rear deck spoiler

Dunno what your weight is but if your a big person you might wanna shed some weight on yourself as well.

There may be more that I'm missing but this should all shed quite a bit and those posting above me aren't very creative.

if you're going to gut it for racing, why have a passenger seat?

i didn't know single-seat cars were illegal. wouldn't removing the airbags make it illegal?

You may have more weight in the car but having someone or something in the passenger seat to balance the car out equal to your own weight makes for better handling.

CC delete is stupid easy, just take the modulator out, unhook the cable going to the gas pedal, remove the vacuum box in teh driver fender well and remove the control unit. P/S just remove the pump, cooler, reservoir, plumbing and loop the lines. You can probably make your own set of looped lines by buying barbed/threaded AN fittings from your local hardware store in the plumbing section and just use whatever hose and clamps to complete it. It's best to try to do this to keep fluid in the rack and makes it easier to turn, there's plenty of write ups on both of these if you search.

Ok so interior is next, ok so this may seem totally counter productive but I really wish to replace the factory door panels with flat 1/16 inch aluminum sheet metal panels, which means relocating the window switches or converting to manual Windows, now here is the question which is heavier power or manual windows
