Need Help woth Auto Tranny, Anyone with a service manual

Hi,

I would like to know if someone with a service manual could send me the pages or some info about the Automatic Transmission of a ´92 Lude.

My transmission is leaking fluid from the 2 hoses that go from the tranny to the cooler in the buimper, no matter how hard i tight the clamps it will leak.

Can it be something cloged inside the tranny?

Any ideas? Please need help on this one.

Also how much for a 2nd hand tranny? Mine also have a little crack in the underside....

Thanks for any help

Are they rubber hoses? I'm not familiar with what you are talking about but if they are rubber you can pull the line and clip the end for a snug fit. I don't know how far it will stretch and it is just an idea. I had to do that to my Chevy when it was leaking antifreeze off the radiator.

Hmmm. Tranny cooler huh? Well, you can try and replace the two hoses altogether. But first, remove the old ones and clean off the pipe where it goes into. Then get some fresh clamps and tighten it all back down.

*You probably OVER-TIGHTENED the hose, and it's leaking thru*

I would definately replace the hoses, put on some screw tight clamps and take it and get a tranny flush and fill, just to be safe, had the same problem in my mazda, that fixed the problem, but then again Mazda is different from Honda, my 92 lude leaks oil not tranny fluid.

Thanks for the replys guys

I did replace the 2 rubber hoses once, as i already had the same problem on my 92´capri.

But it didnt solve the problem, now the clamps are really tight and if i tight it harder im afraid i will damage the hose.

Anyway i will try to find out some different hoses, to see if can be tightened better without geting damaged, maybe the ones im using dont sit properly on the pipe when the clamps are tight.

But one thing i worry is that the 2 pipes coming from the tranny have a bluish color, like it got too hot.... is this normal??

I didnt noticed when i buy this car that the tranny was cracked on the bottom from some accident it had ....

Any more ideas?

thanks for the replys
