Hey I have a 93 si with an auotomatic transmission and I need some help. my transmission shifts fine through all 4 gears but it wont shift into overdrive most of the time. it never shifts into overdrivedaily driving but if I go on a longer trip 30-40 miles or so it eventually shifts into overdrive on the interstate. i thought about getting the transmission flushed to see if that would help. any help would be appreciated... also the car only has 106,000 miles on it idk if that helps any.

My guess would be the transmission fluid. I would start there.

I had a friend who owned an old celica. It never shifted into overdrive...until right before he sold it, so....
