Need help with taking CC out

I need to take the CC out to replace the dash light bulb for CC (the one for rear defogger, recirc and A/C). I've got the shifter console and stereo out and removed two screws, but there is a third screw according to Helms. I cannot locate that screw.

There are also 3 clips at the top of the vent above CC. How are they supposed to come out? Helms said to press them down with screw driver. I tried that, but the vent won't come out.

I believe that to be correct. It's been awhile since I did the swap on my steering wheel.

there's a gold screw tucked up under neath .. you cannot see it very easily ... its a pain .. as far as the 3 clips, from what I remember the whole climate control slides out WITH the vents around it .. shouldn't be hard to come out at all .

I did a huge drastically detailed write-up on fixing the light bulbs (I soldered new ones to the circuit board from radio shake instead of paying 7bux each for the bulbs from honda)

Do a search, im sure you can use it to help you out. search my name and soldered and 4th gen forum i think
its old, like march 2002 or 2003

Yohan: I did take a look at your thread about heater control. I wish there were some pictures, but none. All it said was to remove two screws and a gold screw behind them. I guess I'll have to look harder to find the gold screw.
