need help regarding idle.

Allright boys, here's the story (sorry if its a little long but bear with me please!

I was having an idle problem... it was jumping about 1000rpms a shot... cold it woul dbe from 1,500-2,500rpm and hot 1,000-2,000rpm so i took it to the mechanic and he couldnt find the problem... he checked for vacuum leaks and everything... nothing... he took out the egr and then cleaned it out... still nothing... so he told me to take it to honda.

I had told him to check the fast idle valve, but he didnt think it was that and he didnt bother to check it. although when the car idled bad and jumpy, and soon as i put my finger on top of the bottom hole in the TB the idle retruned to normal...

Now after about 20 min of driving i get to work and go inside. I come back 30 min later and start the car and the jumpy idle isnt there, but the idle stays around 2,500rpm and doesnt jump at all... and i drove around for another 30 min and the idle stayed like that.. do you think its still the fast idle? any suggestions? i mean the guy at the garage played with the idle a little but i dont think it would be that

have you dont the coolant bypass mod? if so you need to make a block off plate for the valve..

clean out your IAC valve(the stainless screen part) with battery cleaner or degreaser..
