Need Help Now!!!!!!!!

OK, i have a 1992 honda prelude SI/4ws. did a swap awhile back for a JDM
H22A vtech. Now i forgot what year the engine came out of and I need a new alternator. I am wondering if anyone knows if any of these numbers tells me what year the engine is. I got these right off of the block. this is what it looked like:
H22A and then these numbers were under the H22A: 2020664

and i got this one but its kinda peeled so i can only get some: M2F4-(and here is where it was peeled...only 1 number i cant read) and then the rest of it is 000439.

I cant find a vin number anywhere on the engine. I don't have the heat shield on it so cant look that way either. Anybody have any ideas????
I also heard if you look at the little clocks on the engine, that it points to you year number. inside one of the clocks it had a 96. the 3 clocks were pointing to these letters D, S, W

ALSO, there was this stamp on the engine
No.1 94
thanks for your help.....sorry about sounding like an idiot

99% sure you need:

DENSO Part # 2100217 or whatever autozone equivalent you want. Denso makes the OEM one.

Should look just like this one: Manufacturer Info

Here is the correct #

Honda Part Number: 06311-P14-A01RM

I am 100% sure this time, it lines up with the CJP78 number you posted. The number above is for the same part as the one you removed.

(By the way, that was a total PITA to find.)

Did you do the H22A swap or was that done by a P/O of the car? I only ask because that is the same alternator as the one the came with a 92 SI. That could very well be the original factory alternator you've got there.

I did the swap with my 2 buddys. My boys dad owns Independant Honda so we have full use of garage & tools/lifts. What engine came in the 92 SI?

H23 originally came with that car. I'm guessing that you swapped the old alternator and bracket when you did the engine swap? If not, if you still have the old engine, you could use the old alternator off of it.
