need help on next mod/ need more power

my car is just not as fast as it used to be. i used to be able to spin both tires hard going into second, ever since i put new clutch and lighter flywheel in i just cant grab them like i used to....... anyways that is besides the point. here is my current dilema. i have a 93 si h23 with 95k and stock internals. i want to go either small turbo or nitrous some time next year after i get the exterior back up to par. (sick of it bein called the primerlude) anyways i need more power. my brother has a 92 taln with 600+ hp, best friend mainly rolls a hayabusa and my co-worker has a modded mustang pushin almost 400whp. my car is just left out of the pack. i know i will never be as fast as them without turbo set-up but i wanna keep it all motor for a while and put down some decent numbers.
right now my current mods are:
port/polished head
cold air intake
dc header
apexi cat back
stock cat with holes drilled throught for more flow
most free mods
msd ignition with new wires plugs cap rotor etc etc..
ported intake manifold and throttle body
new clutch with fidanza flywheel
aem pullies with removed ac system
es motor mounts
top secret crankshaft pulley
aem cam gears (not tuned, set at 0)
str fuel rail (mainly for looks)
what else is there to do for some noticable power difference, my car does not feel that much faster than stock. would vtec tranny help at all?? should i just go for a 55 shot zex and call it a day? what about safc2? i need input here. i am not afraid to remove stock parts if i think it will still be ok daily driven and give me hp gain, with that said no i do not want to remove my balnce shaft belt and i am keeping ps. any info much appreciated

If you're going to go for a small turbo later on, the VTEC tranny won't you. I would say get a S-AFC (older or updated edition) and get your car tuned with the cam gears. Should feel some nice gains.

Also, for fun, you could always throw some nitrious in there.

But right now, you're looking at more like saving up for a turbo and putting that on.

Another thought... cams?

i have been doing some very in depth research on turbo my lude. i will be buying parts over the winter and put them on next summer. cams for h23? i dont want re grinds i didnt think anyone made cams for h23s and i dont think in would be substantial power gain. i will get safc evetually but i need more power for the time being as well. people say tuning the cam gears isnt even worth it but i am gonna do it anyways most likely. i have also heard just advance the intake cam 1 degree and exhaust 2 degree but i know every car is different.... any other suggestions, feels very sluggish lately

I am in contact with Crower about cams for us. Brian said that we should have some billet cams by the end of the year

Man, that would be so awesome if Crower makes billets for us H23 guys.

toofast: You want to have an SAFC and a Dyno to tune your cam gears, you dont want to just be changing the settings without tuning instruments.
