need help how do i take off...

how do i take off the plastic cover surrounding the passenger front seat on the bottom? the part that surround the adjuster for making the top of the seat go back and forth, thanks

ok its off. the reason I needed to take it off is that the seat just automatically reclines when you push on it with just a normal force, like just sitting down. you have to lean foward for it to not recline. so it looks like there are these teeth that lock the seat in certain positions, and it looks like they are worn down a little, but not really stripped. so Im wondering if I can adjust something so they will lock into place better. help me guys.

my guess is that you're just going to need a new seat...

go talk to a honda dealer about it tho..

maybe you will need a new seat. before you go buy a new seat, i would take drimel to the teeth. if you are going to have to replace the seat then you have nothing to loose. of course it could be something else...

those your new seats? that sucks. i didnt win the bid on those leather seats so no inserts for you. sorry. winded up at $500...crazy shiot. good luck on your seats.

my passenger side leather seat is a piece of ****! i think it must be the teeth i spent 3 hours with it out of my car and even cut the plastic thing to get it off so i could check out the teeth and gears but can't see anything besides the teeth which aren't THAT bad anyway i don't knwo what im going to do is it possible to switch the gears with another seat?

I am trying to take mine off.. the plastic handle for the seat recliner/adjuster. Would you mind tell me how to take it off?

Help! how to remove the recliner handle?
