need help... heater core

this morning when i was on my way into work, my ABS light came on, but no CEL. then when i got to work i noticed that my passenger side carpeting was wet. well upon futher inspection it was soaked and there was about an inch of water/misc fluid on it. i took out my floor mat and let it drip some so i could see the color, and it was a brownish red color (rust).

well everyone at work said that they thought it was my heater core that rusted through and drained my coolant. now i need to replace my heater core.

what is involved in doing this? i have a little bit of time to do this (and another car to drive) but i still need it done soon. also, does anyone know of a company that does carpeting (because i know my carpet is going to smell like crap until i replace it).

thanks.

Replacing the heater core isn't difficult but it is a PITA. You'll have to remove the entire dash and dash bar to get at it. It's best for you to buy a Helms manual and follow the procedures listed.
