Need help with Brake pad suggestions!!!

I posted this elsewhere, but wanted some more exposure under a fresh topic.

I am setting my car up for Auto-X with occasional Road-Racing, and very little street driving.

I have stainless lines and fresh OEM rotors. I am also buying a set of Speedbleeders and MOTUL fluid. I am looking at either HAWK HPS or Carbotech Panther or Panther+.
Any input would be appreciated!!!
I do not care about brake dust or squeal, but I do need something that won't totally chew up my rotors, and will stop on the street once in a while!!!

I have the street Hawk HPS and I am going to use them for street. I haven't even gotten the chane to put them on. Why don't you get the stronger pads from hawk made for autocross?

I've been told that the next pad up from the HPS devours rotors!!! I need something that will still be decent for the street on the rare occasion I drive it...

I think the next step was Hawk+...

From my mechanic's advice, I think I may go with a set of FERODO DS2500...He used them on his Porsche for Road-racing, and swears by them!!!
$91 a pair from Essex Racing...

If I remember correctly the AEM pads are just rebadged metal master pads(or any of the other names they do by). I havent heard anything bad about the endless pads but if you want a street pad look at the EBC Greenstuff Pads. I have heard nothing but very positive reviews on them. Back to the original questions....I dont know anything about track pads
