Erm hello did this post get missed?
The CEL light believe it not
is useful, I've only just spent a day or so sorting mine out.
Even when you shut the car off and it goes out the ECU remembers it, use the diagnostics cable to get the code.
Because its going out it means its not a critical error, it could be the same as mine and be an EGR fault, this could cause problems on your idle.
Check that CEL though ok
