With the picture he's implying that harnesses are harnesses...you could just use clips if you wanted to....

basically jus imitate the same harness on the other light without the plastic peice.

I didn't take alot of pics cuz it was 2am, but youll wanto wrap the exposed connectors when you put them on the bulb thingies.

im pretty bad at electronics but if you wanna msg me:

to the second filiment in the H4. In japan they only use the low beam filiment in the H4 and use the H1 as the high beam. Just figure out which of the three wires is low positive and which id ground and ignore the other one.

wrong, they use the h4 for the high and low beam, dual filament bulb. and the H1 for driving lights (aka fog lights). If you look in the faq section there is a wiring diagram to wire the way japanese cars are but you'll also need relays which is the first part # I posted. But look in the 4th gen faq and you should find it. If not you can just use your H4 as you low beam and H1 as your high, but when I do it I'll have my h4 for high and low. Any questions pm or email me.

Thats still does not answer my question. i hooked it up like the write up in the faq said. pos to pos and neg to neg now i wire it up like that and nothing happens. the bulb does not light up plus i have that extra wire on the harness and i dunno where it goes. i dont care if i have it wired up the way that will blow the dual filament bulb i just want the dang thing to work!! please Help me make this thing work.

Maybe the other wire hanging off is the ground. Look at the other harness and see which prongs have what color wires and copy on the other side.

j_t: RIGHT!!! the JDm and the Euro specs work that way, ask UKVTEC. Also how do you explain the fact that there are only two wires on every JDM H4 harness that comes with the lights. The writeup does tell you how to wire it so that the H4 is used as the high and low with the H1 as the driving light. Indeed that is how I have mine hooked up. But in Japan the H4 is ONLY low beam and the H1 is the HIGH beam.
