Hey guys/girls Im new and i need some help. I want to cut each door right thro along the top crease line (creating "half height" doors) the only thing thats stoping me is the electric window mechanism as it hangs down below that line.

Ive been told that i can get around it if i can source a couple (1 for each door) of actuators to move the glass up and down can anyone suggest any? Also im aware of the glass not having full travel as half the door will be gone but that doesnt bother me. Any suggestions would be great! Please post links if possible to products..... Or any other solutions! Thanks

This sounds like a really really stupid idea.

If it doesnt bother you to not have the glass do its full travel, you may as well ditch the glass altogether...

Geee thanks for the positive feedback.... Who pissed on your cornflakes? I wanted to do this becase Im planing on building a body thats simular to http://www.astra-g.cz/gallery/119930...astra_dtm3.jpg Ive stripped out the prelude and buiding it from the ground up and wanted not to have the sides runing across the doors.

Why is it people just dont have any imagination anymore?

i dont know man,sounds like a job for west coast customs or somthing,why dont u just buy an astra,opels are **** anyway,but best of luck
