need to change sunroof...any ideas? - Honda Prelude Forum

Hi! I have a 1992 prelude and my sunroof got rusty. I want to change it but I cant find another used one. I dont want the glass one because there's no way to cover it like the 5th generation. Is there a place on the internet i could buy another one, even if it is not OEM? Or maybe someone has another idea?

I'm not sure where you are from. But I am blessed to have a honda junk yard pretty close to my home. I am pretty sure he ships things out.

+1 since ur roof is rusty might as well do the 5th gen conversion there are a couple writeups to help you as well

Thanks everyone. The 5th generation sunroof conversion seems easier than I thought. I will see if I can get one and maybe try the conversion. Another question? does anyone of you ever tried the sunroof conversion on your car and does it fit well?

about half the pics in the write-up above are my car, and yes it can fit well.
like with anything, just depends on your attention to detail. Probably one of
my favorite mods I've done to my car, and of course you get the option of
which conversion you want to tackle, w/ shade or w/out. Good luck sir
