Nearly finished enclosure pics!

Just needs some carpet and a wiring terminal, and she'll be ready to rock!

I'm running an Xtant 121M @ 2 ohms mono. . .250 watts RMS power (perfect for the IDQ10). I'm still contemplating mass production because the initial investment in materials is really high (probably like $300-400 investment on my part). Maybe later this summer I can justify taking a risk making an initial investment like that, but not at the moment. Do you think $150-$175 would be a fair market price (without the changable baffle system. . .that took a TON of extra work!)?

I'd buy one for $150 to house a 10" woofer. Why not find out how many people are interested and then maybe take 50% down and the other 50% once completed? Could you pop a few of these out in a day or would it take a day or two each? Just an idea...

Dealing with split payments just seems complicated. . .you know, a lot of places to get things messed up. I could probably build one start to finish in 2 days (working part time). With the mold I made, future replicas will be easier, but ughh. . .fiberglass is soooo messy.

I just hope it will not be too difficult for you to take it out whenever you need to replace a lightbulb for your tail light!!

Nice job though

Which is like, what. . .once every 2 years? It actually comes out VERY easily, with no tools whatsoever. I'm thinking of bolting this one down, just as theft deterence.

It tucks into the little cavity by the drivers side tail light (inside the trunk).

Here is some shots of the enclosure I built for po.com member ME. I think the aluminum cone looks really nice, and the second pic shows how close the carpet match is:
