Ne1 know where to get an OEM stereo wiring harness?

When I got my car there was an aftermarket stereo in there, a cheap one so i swapped it out. The thing is when I did I noticed that they cut the stock harness and i guess threw it away. I wanted to put the stock one back on, thing is I have a 93 vtec with the 7th speaker so i'd only be able to get one from the same set up right? If ne1 knows where I can get one or if you might have one left over I'd buy it from you. Thanx-Sean

May I ask why you want to put the stock one back in?

I didnt mean to put in the stock head unit, just the stock harness. Then i'd just buy one of those adapters that are specific to makes and hook it up that way.

Ah. OK. You can do what I did and rerun all your wiring with new and better wires. Much better IMHO. If you still want the stock harness I don't know where to look. I checked on hondaautomotiveparts and they didn't have it. Best bet might be a junk yard cause I doubt any Honda dealer would carry it.

Thanx for telling me about hondaautomotive too becuase I was just about to email them...Ahh just got an idea, gotta check out import auto salvage

Ahhh nice...I didnt think I had any wiring that was left over in there for the 7th speaker, that would be real nice. So would I be able to use one from like a civic or accord? just as long as it had 6 speakers? remember I dont want to put the stock headunit. I just want a OEM harness on there.

Back to original topic but you can pick up this harness at:
http://www.scosche.com/scosche/connectors/HA02R.asp

This is the harness that would be present in the OE wiring. If you need to redo the wire locations it is not that hard. The pull right out.

HTH

Later,

You can use the harness out of an Accord of the same year. I think all Honda/Acura's used the same pin locations by that time.
