Probably both about the same. Both are cheap replica's.

If you really wanted a budget good exhaust, look into custom piping + vibrant muffler.

That's what's wrong with all the new prelude owner newbs.

It's the mentality of mediocrity.

Both are crap and it doesn't really matter.

Aww come on now...

Mine hasn't been modded yet cause I'm saving money to do it right...

Hopefully this summer I'll have enough to swap to the H22 and do a full overhaul the whole suspension.

Chances are, I'll be gunning for revalved Tein Flex, though I may wait to revalve until later.

^well I would love for you to prove me wrong

This is OT from the original thread but I would ask you to consider koni's + coilover sleeves.

You can get them revalved already and have an awesome setup that is far superior to the tein flexes. The only reason I would get Teins is for the EDFC which doesn't really do much since you don't change settings that much anyways.

Actually...

Not going Tein Flex...

Rather...

Buddy Club Racing Spec Dampers
Part Number: BC02-RSD92BB1PM
Manufacturer: Buddy Club
Link to Product: https://passwordjdm.com/Buddy-Club-R...P2613C443.aspx
Price: $1,601.99

My buddy uses these on his RSX.

Super Racing are better on the track, but the Buddy Club RSD are better than the Flex on track, and possibly better than the Super Racing on the street, in other words, better all around, especially for the price, and BB4 compatibility.

Tein's are occasionally known to develop stress cracks, or at least have in my friend's experience, and he's purposefully been rough with the Buddy Club's and so far, so good.

So... what do you think of those?

- Corey

Care to explain yourself?

Have you used Koni, Tein, or Buddy Club? Where does your bias come from?

Simply saying "Koni is better" or "I would use Koni" with no other explanation, is honestly, thoroughly useless.

Care to be more helpful?

If you search honda-tech or even on here, they have shock dynos of all the major coilovers from japan.

They all basically suck compared to koni yellows. That's hard data and not someone just saying they're better.

Koni's can be revalved and can use OTS springs from major manufactures.

Sure if you want jdm bling go ahead, just know if you are really into performance shocks, koni's are the way to go for this price range. You want to go higher? Well then you can go get some penske shocks or Motons.

Very interesting.

I'll be talking to my tuner friend who I'm building the car up with and ask his experience.

Might not use Buddy Club then.
