Have a mechanic check your temperature sensor inside the radiator. This happened on my friends CRX and he just had to buy a new temperature sensor, its just the cap with a coil.

I can just go buy one then and if doesnt work return it right? Then I dont have to pay for a mechanic to look at it.

the temperature sensor is not in the radiator or in the radiator cap.

its located right under the distributor. there are two sensors, the one on the right is the gauge sending unit.

thanx for that info G_Loc, i didnt think it was the same as the crx engine, well the one he has in it. and i was saying u can just buy it at o'reilly. have on of the car tech nerds there look at it cuz they'll tell u whats wrong with it. around here the o'reilly auto parts people are educated about their parts and know what they're talking about. friendly too.

I just had my clutch replaced and now my temp gauge isn't working. all the lights work, as seen at startup, however the gauge stays on cold start even after the engine is plenty hot. The fans are kicking on, and I have enough fluid in it. I checked on the front of the distributer, and there is two plugs on it which look firmly connected. are these the sensors, or am I looking at the wrong thing? Any ideas please post. Thanks
-Joe
