My speaker is rattling in my driver side door - Honda Prelude Forum

my speaker on my driver side door is not mounted...it's loose and can be heard rattling

do i have to take out the door panel to remedy this problem or jus remove the speaker grill?

Sorry, but you have to remove the door panel. Check for screws, unscrew them, carefully unclip the door, and lift up door panel

Yep, pull off that door panel and tighten that bad boy down. If you want to do yourself a big favor pick up a sheet of dynamat from Best Buy and place it around your speaker; then you definitely won't hear a rattle. For more info on dynamat and how it works, check out the car audio forum.

cool thx man...i think that da body shop forgot to screw down my speaker

it rattles like crazy on rough roads
