hey, i just tried making my own rsr sound clip. i used a ****ty tape recorder and just connected it to my comp using a wire from the ear phone jack to the microphone jack on the comp. i tried getting rid of the noise hissing. i used nero and when i went to noise reduction option, it worked, but it wouldnt save the way i heard it on the sound editor so sorry about that. but hey, at least i tried!
can someone give me a place to host the sound clip?

yea, it does sound farty in the clip but like i said, its a sh itty recorder. maybe i can get a sound clip from a video camera and firewire it my comp which would be better. i tried getting rid of the damn hiss noise and it worked good but i dont know how to save it using nero. maybe somebody here would know how to use a sound editing tool to get rid of the hiss thing, its pretty easy cuz its on a different frequency.

Yeah, I know. I meant no offense. Its just hard to get an accurate representation of something like that.
yea, thats true. when i heard it on the comp, it did sound very farty, not smooth like it really is. but people can get a feel for how loud it is i guess.

i had the exhaust for like a month? why?
So I'm guessing you've already put a couple hundred miles with the exhaust? The reason I ask is because after a couple hundred miles, the tone changes - for the better.
Unfortuntely, the sound clip doesn't do justice for the actual sound. The only similarity I found was the little grumble after you rev the engine and let the RPMs go down. Even that was raspy. But yea, it's going to be hard to capture the real sound of the exhaust.
yep, hopefully ill be able to get a much better recording instrument and maybe make run bys with the car to see how it sounds on a fly by. what would you guys recommend to record the exhaust?
i think i said "can you hear it?" at the end of it, lol.
edit:good news, i was able to get rid of the hissing noise. its not much but its better then before. ill try to catch lude vtec online and maybe he can host it.
