Is my Prelude already wired for fog lights from the factory?? - Honda Prelude Forum

ok, when i had the bumper off a while ago when i was putting in my JDMs, i noticed loomed together with the wires going to the blinkers another set of wires that led to harnesses that connected to nothing and they reach to exactly where fog lights would go. if i bought a set of fogs, could i just plug them into those harnesses...could it really be that easy? i dont have a switch on the inside of the car so i assume they would just come on with the low beams but then turn off when you switch to high beams. is this correct? are those fog light wires? thanks!

that is for the fogs, do a search you will find all the info, many of us have done it...

Yes, the prelude is prewired for the factory fog lights there is also a switch that goes inside the car. This is a very good example: Fog install pics.....(40 pics, major 56k warning!)
There is also a write up in the FAQ under fog lights.

ok so, if i dont want to put a switch in my car (which i dont) can i still have the fogs? i dont care about being able to turn them on and off with a little independent switch in the car. i just want them to come on when i turn the headlights on and go off when i turn the headlights off. is there already a relay in my car that can control that simple process or not? basically, can i just go out and buy a cheap pair of fogs, plug them into those harnesses i mentioned and be done with it? thanks
