My parts finally got here! - Honda Prelude Forum

Well my car got hit on March 20th and I have since been waiting on Versus for my CF hood and WW RS body kit, finally it's here, minus the front lip, back order. Oh well, new bumper and JDM one piece head lights going on very soon. Had the lights for like 3 months just been waiting so I can do it all at once. Will post pix as soon as my bumper ad kit get painted.

I really hate waiting for stuff, it always takes WAY too long to get in.

Me too. But I just got a package in the mail today, so that makes me happy, but I really don't understand why things go on backorder. Obviously if they're a popular item you make more right? I don't get it.

Not that simple. Firstly stuff is trendy. If you simply produce more, you will get stuck with some. Second there are other conditions involved. For example, the reason Wings West is backordred is because they are/were moving into a new place.

Yeah it's tight to get parts in the mail, now I'm waiting on some stock taillights since mine got stolen.

Ive had my car stripped for 2 months thinking VIS would ship me my hood and front end a little after they told me.. ha. a "little after" turned to be 1 1/2 months.

And guess what? I got my front end and 2 of my friends front ends, and NO HOOD.

Call them, and they tell me they were out of stock when I ordered, and paid, but they had one in stock that week and it'll be here next tuesday or wednesday..

Now I have a freshly painted car, tons of other work.. and no hood.

3 months to get your stuff. Thats pretty bad. At least it will be worth it when your car has all its new stuff on. What front li[ are you using?

Veilside, spoiler removed, new exhaust, new Venom nitrous setup, new coilovers, some other new stuff..

Im not even going to pickup the car till the CF Hood comes in, i dont want to drive it half done.

I got the WW RS kit, no kidding 3 months is way too long, Versus said a 3 week back order, more like over 3 months, still no front lip! At least I got the side skirts and rear lip and my friends Big mouth bumper. I'm not sure if I'm going to use the rear lip though, I knida like neokai idea of using the Accord rear lip. What do you think?
