My opinions on Folia tec caliper paint...<pic>

Since a few of you emailed me, I figured I'de post this for the whole board.
I used Folia tec Caliper paint on my calipers and I love it. At $40 it was kinda pricey but you get what you pay for. The fact that it brushes on just means a cleaner install with no need for masking or taping.

And the quality is just wow. since you mix a hardened enamel with the paint you get a thicker more even look with a longer shine. This isn't the best pic but It's what I got for now. When this pic was taken it had been almost 9 months since I put it on. And not a single chip or dulling from brake dust has occured.

Hey Machine Head, could you give me any pointers on the coilover install? I see you have one, I just need a heads up on things to watch out for when installing mine.

Thanx

First get the right tools, you'll need a pitman arm puller to separate your rear ball joint for the install. Air tools would help too, but I didn't have any, what ever I didn't have I borrowed from my local parts store. I used the pics and instructions from the NTPOG web site as a back up referance to the instructions that came with the kit

All I can say is take your time. be pateint, follow the NTPOG instructions to the T and you'll be all set. I did my shocks at the same time so I pre-asembled everything first and it had all laid out

It appears that your rotors are on backwards. Is it just me or the picture?

I was thinking the same thing. They are supposed to "swoop" towards the rear of the car.
