my next mod?

as some of you may know i have a lot of work done to my h23. I am looking on what else i can do for power. My mods now are I/H/E port/polish intake manifold and head, removed ac, pulleys cam gears, motor mounts, fpr mod, coolant bypass. I need to know what i should do next. I am considering ecu upgrade but jet and hondata are the only people i see that make one and i hear it is not worth it. I would also like to get cams sometime along the line but the only ones i have seen were all re-grinds. What do you guys here think i should do next? maybe ignition? Am i basically done unless i want to go nitrous, turbo or super'd? all help apreciated.

yea get ignition or a hondata. or if you really want the best bang for the buck and a good way to clean out your engine go nitrous.

That's what I was going to say. People say you can really feel a difference when you change to a lightend flywheel. The new clutch will help you get the power down to the ground without the worry of clutch slipage.

Ignition isn't a great mod. I have a crane ignition system and coild and it doesn't do jack all for performance. Ignition and standalones are most useful when you go to FI.

My suggestion, GO TURBO!

turbo is out of the question but i may do a SMALL shot of nitrous come spring time. I will definetly be buying a clutch and flywheel soon. would i feel anything from ignition? How do people feel about re-ground cams for the h23? anyone had any luck? who else offers ecu upgrades and which is the simpliest/inexpensive? would i gain much from a apexi safc?

I dunno about ignition not being a great mod. Power gain-wise, sure, it won't help you much unless you're running FI, but gas economy-wise, it helps out. I definately get more miles per tank since I put my MSD 6 BTM on a year or so ago. And don't go turbo or nitrous unless you know exactly what you're doing, and what's required to prevent your engine from grenading.

Honestly I think that you should wait for the clutch and the flywheel just for the fact that you prolly don't have as much hp as needed for an upgraded clutch........

I'd go turbo if I were you but thats just me......or maybe do a head swap??

Ignition is useless on an N/A car. Unless you are spraying you won't see benefits at all.

Clutch/Flywheel are good. Suspension is always a great mod.\

That FPR mod sucks! I don't know why you would do that, it would just cause your car t run rich all the time...at 40psi or whatever, you don't need the extra fuel when cruising around, when the vacuum lines actually reduce the fpr...
