BAD LUCK THAT IS, SOME DUMBASS!!!! Backs into me 2day in my school parking lot, the whole time im honking, and the dumb ***** just keeps on backing up untill she completly destroys my right fender, and then when she gets out, shes like "That wasnt my fault, i also didnt make that big dent, i just put the paint on there" I couldnt believe my ears. I was like ARE U ****ING KIDDING ME!!!! THEN!!!!!! I find out she doesnt have insurance, I lost it, I was going MAD. So i got her DL#, NAME, Plates. What should i do, she claims that her insurance "kicks in b4 this weekend" Should i just go ahead and file a polive report or what??
OMG that sucks man! Damn I swear some people are just go about there day completely aloof. Man that is tough question! Were the police not called after it happened? Even if you wait for her insurance to kick in her insurance is gonna want the date this happened and a police report. Unless you both lie to police and the insurance company about the date (which I dont recommend) I dont see how her insurance will want to cover it.
If worse comes to worse you can always contact your insurance company. They should cover everything minus your deductible. It technically shouldnt count against you. But Id wait for that option first! That is what I did once, I rear ended this girl who was drunk. She didnt want to involve the authorities, and neither did I because it was somewhat partly my fault. My insurance covered it know questions asked. I got 2500 out of Allstate (basically got my money back from those theives) Then I dumped them for a cheaper insurance company.
I'd file a poliece report anyway...its her Fn fault that shes a stupid ***** and didnt have insurance. That EXACT thing just happened to a friend of mine...the lady pushed him like 3 ft and tore off his rear bumper. I'm a girl...but women can NOT drive!! I hope it all works out for you...but for sure file a poliece report.

Go to a good body shop asap and get a quote. Cool the bish up and see if she can get the money to you pronto. If she doesn't cough up the money see if you can still file a report with the cops.
File the report asap!
If you dont do it soon then you lose credibility if this goes to court
gotta be careful with this stuff. Dumb B!tch driving without insurance and doestn' watch where she's driving.
It was a White chevy malibu... and same ole case, ALREADY has marks and dents ALL over it!
I'm gonna go file a polive report in the morning. Thanks for all your help guys and gals. If there is anymore info yall got post it! thanks.
I got the estimate 2day, its going to be 1300 and change!!! and the person who hit me isnt in exactly the best financial state, so i feel kinda bad, but it was her fault, and i should have to pay for it. So i gotta call her in the morning and tell her whats up
I'm going to kind of spoil this for you: you didn't call the cops right away, and you exchanged information, so they are going to shrug and tell you to go to court. If they take a report you are lucky.
I'm sorry to bring the bad news. I had something similar happen to my g/f a few months ago.
Next time, IMMEDIATELY call the police. While you are both still there. The officers will come and sort it out, and her insurance or lack there of (ILLEGAL in most states) will be taken care of.
1) To make you feel a little better if you end up having to pay for it (deductible I mean): in MI, it's no-fault, so regardless of how stupid the other driver is, when it's all their fault even, your insurance covers your damage, and you pay the deduct. I dunno if that applies when the other driver isn't insured, but ignore that last part.
2)Your sensitivity towards the financial standing of the other driver is touching, but in the end, no insurance should = no driving. It's her mistake to learn from, and you unfortunately got caught in the crossfire.
Have you filed the police report yet? Tell us what happened, I'm curious now. Hope you get this sorted out, it's never nice to see/hear about these things.
Actually I may be wrong but I think no-fault has to do with PIP (personall injury protection). In a no fault state, your insurance pays for you and your passengers injuries even if its not your fault. For damages to the car the charges should be relayed to the inurance company of the person at fault. I may be wrong so dont quote me.

You may be, you may not be. As far as Michigan goes, no-fault applies only to vehicle damage. If someone is injured, the possibility of filing an injury suit is available. Basically, here, if you're in an accident, and it's your fault or the other driver's, either way, your insurance covers your damage, their insurance cover's theirs, so both your premiums go up, and both pay their deductibles. I hate that, because I'm pretty confident in most situations, and the idea of some soccer freak plowing their excursion into my car and not having to pay makes me grind my fillings. So basically, if that is going to happen, I'd rather they injure me too with my poor baby, that way I can get something out of it. (I probably shouldn't be saying things like that). Oh, about the whole no-fault thing, that doesn't apply when your car is parked and you're not in it, THEN, the "hitter" pays for the "hitee's" damage as well as their own. Anyway, so, whitea, what's the news?
