kinda OT did anybody get the heater hoses with his JDM engine? I need to know if the valve on it is electrical or mechanical like the USDM and if it's electrical I need one

I believe the valve on the heater hose was vacuum operated? Does that sound right? It looks like some sort of vacuum thingy.
i am wanting to do a swap and talked to steve the other day. he said that i could buy the h22 longblock and it owuld bolt in my 93 si! he also said the tranny and everything would work! i would just need a new ecu which he would sell me pretty cheap! i didnt think that it would work that way though! i thought i would need the full swap!! guess not!

sweet man, your trying to be just like me, admit it damnit!! hehe...i love mine, and mines pretty damn strong as well, me and 4bidden are neck and neck, although i have him by a smoking .019 seconds woohoo!!! good luck on it man, its very easy to put in, also use your H23 harness, it plugs right in, your vtec wire should be in a plug on your opassenger side shock tower..enjoy!

just wait until i got my tranny fixed and head back to the track though. ill have you beat. thats kind of funny that i was able to even hit the times i did and the shifter linkage wasnt even being held in place. one of those huge e-clip looking pieces of metal that holds the linkage secure was GONE and the linkage was just moving back and forth freely. if youve ever messed with your shift linkage you know that those metal clips are needed!!
