Car year and model? Have you checked fuses? Symptoms leading to the problem? Need a little more info.

at least you got a heated seat.... Check fuses/plug under the seat...if not that I'd take it to an auto upsholstry shop...any good ones should be fairly familiar with something like that.

no symptoms leading to the problem and i checked the fuses but none of the labels indicated heated seats so i checked the others and they were good

Sounds like your relay has busted, does the light indicator for your seat come on when you select it?

That wire could be from one of two areas

1. It could be the wire that runs from the heated seat coil to the bottom of the seat
2. It could be the wire that runs from underneath the carpeting to the bottom of the seat.

You can rule out #1 if you can see the wire connector attached to the seat.

For #2, you would have to search for a hole in the carpet under the seat. You may have to take apart your entire carpeting if you cannot find the other ends of the wires. Or trace the wire from the switch to the seat if possible.

Also, see if you can get your hands on a Helm's manual. I know for the 5thgen, the Canadian counterparts are listed in there. So I am assuming that the 4thgen Helm's may be the same.

well i know that it clips into the other clip that comes from under the carpet. So i assume this wire leads to the seat and i cant find where it came from

Unbolt your passenger seat and note where the wire enters the seat. Then, check the area on the driver seat. You may have to remove the seat fabric to find the other end if you cannot visibly see the rest of the wire.

It's weird that you have a severed conenctor like that. This time around just make sure you have a good connection that won't get loose or is not in the way of something that would pull it out/severe it.

I believe in your case the driver seat will have 2 connectors one for the heated seat and the other one for the seat belt. So I think the connector you have on your passenger seat is the one for the heated seat because there's no seat belt sensor on the passenger seat.
