My h23 already has vtec wires... need expert advice

Ok so today, i ran all my wires for vtec... you swappers know the drill....

I spliced them into the engine bay first, then got under the dash. Now, in pin A4 on the wiring harness, the green/yellow wire was already there, and on D6, the light blue wire was there. On the connection side of the harness, i shined a light through, and there were contact pins also. Do i need to run wires then?? The wires are where they already need to be

Edit: it's a 95', and i checked the VIN, it came stock with an H23 (i questioned that, because i bought my lude with a R-title). Maybe 95's were wired fully with vtec??

Because some weren't. Not ALL H23's were prewired, just most of them.

Your car seems to be prewired. You need to find the wires in the engine bay for them. The VTEC solenoid wire should be on the passenger side shock tower. The light blue wire is in one of the main engine harness plugs. Here is a pic:

Yep,

I actually used the empty plug and got a pin out of my JDM harness and made it look 100 % OEM. (that is my car in the pic).

So long as you ground the other side of the pressure switch and connect to those wires you should be golden.

Now go out and enjoy VTEC!

i cut the switch from the JDM harness, soldered it to where he points out where the wire is at, and that's it

In the pic above, theone that says "oil press sensor" has a light blus wire going into the back of it but nothing comming out the other side. You need to run that wire to the VTEC oil press sensor right below the solenoid, then ground the other wire on the sesnor and you should be good to go. I would suggest getting pin to put into that plug so that you can still completely uplug the engine harness from the chassis to make it possible to pull the engine later if needed. (if you don't then you will need to cut the wire to remove the engine).
