My H22A Swap Progress...Lots of Pics!

Just thought I would show a few pics of the progress of my swap. I never thought I would have spent so much time on this project. It's because I am sort of procrastinating and I had to order certain parts that I didn't know about until pulling out my old engine.

Here are the pics...sorry for the ****ty quality:

H22A and Prelude (notice old engine in upper left corner)

H22A-1 (please do not confuse this as H22A1)

Engine Bay-1

Engine Bay-2

H22A-2

OEM Clutch Set (I am replacing the pressure plate and disc)

Tranny

Crap I had to transfer from old engine

Engine Bay-3 (I made sure to advertise the WD-40)

H22A-3

H22A-4

Old H22A1...I gotta sell this thing! (It has bent valves)

Engine Bay-4

I give you a lot of credit for doing this yourself. It's a great way to learn about your car.

Good luck with the rest of the install.

Mark

I will probably be selling everything together so that I can get more out of it.

I have never done an engine swap before. I am learning a lot by doing it though! So far it's going pretty well...its just taking us some time because we had to order parts that we didn't know about. My dad is helping me and he has a bunch of tools and whatnot so its not too bad.

I am right in the middle of the US...Iowa. Looks like you live in New York. I am probably gonna be selling this thing local because it just makes everything easier. I am not sure what to ask for it though. With 170,000 miles and bent valves, what would you guys recommend I ask for it?

How much do you want for your old engine? What is the mileage, and what is wrong with it (detailed!)? Everything sitting on the palet in the picture (no tranny etc.) I am looking for another H22 that I can rebuild. Mind you I can get a JDM H22 Longblock with about 30K miles for about 1100-1200 shipped to my house. So, let me know what you want for it. Email me or respond here.
