well the speedo tach i used a dark blue presentation cover from office depot, placed it behind the the face of the guage..now the gas guages and temp and clock were trickier, ive seen other do it by placing blue film over the guages, but it looks all fuzzy that way, not good IMO..so i took apart the tem gas cluster, theres three ROM boards that have the guages mounted on them, in front of them is a thin hard plastic piece, very very lightly tinted, so i removed the plastic pieces and replaced them with a dark blue, but clear, not blurry plastic..got it from my roomates dark blue windscreen of his GSXR1000 bike, he had craked it and didnt need it, anyways it came out great, looks awesome , even better in person...and no i havent gotten the climate control yet, itll prob be a good month or so before i get that in...peace

Then what's the point? That makes no sense at all.

i think he konws what i mean i read his other posts, meaning you get hot/cold and blower modes, you just dont have all the other modes like keeping the car at one temperature ect...

it doesnt make sense?? other than the fact that its a digital face, looks 10x better, and classier, you can always add the sensors later anyways, but im hooking it up so you get AC heat, and fan speed, but it wont work AUto...you obviously havent seen the unit, it makes the interior look soooooo much sweeter..peace

I have seen the climate control unit and it does look pretty sweet, but I just don't think it's worth it unless you get it to be fully functional.

conclude: your best bet is from a scrap yard if you can find a place where they have some Honda/Acura I think the car that has a system that looks the most like the JDM climate control is the 1st gen CL. Though many Honda/Acura now have the air mix motor, I have one from a 99 Accord here right now, though by looking at the wiring, it might be a little different. I'll know when I'll try it I guess. I think I'm gonna take the easter weekend to finish this thing up.

PreludeRacer023: If you can convert the JDM climate control to blue let us know how you did it.

hey what did you do about the clock? i did this on my car too, but didnt really like the blue, so i went back to stock. the one thing that sucked is that the clock was too dim during the day, cause it doesnt have the brightness control on it..

i didnt do anything about the clock, did u just use film to do your temp ect, i tried that and it was fuzy and hazy and couldnt see it clearly, it took me some searching to find the plastic, and trade out the piece but now its perfect, and clear, and deep blue, i love looks better with the black interior, man what a sexy interior..94 up black leather vtec...mmmmm
