My DIY H23A Red Valve Cover *pics*

Just finished it yesterday. Basically sanded it down to metal and sprayed it with Engine Enamel What do you guys think?

P.S. yeah I know the rest of the engine bay is super dirty

That does look really awesome, but I do agree .. grab some super green and another meguiars plastic cleaning product and get to work with the tooth brush and a sponge ...

You have this brilliantly new/shiney looking valve cover and a dusty engine ... it'd like amazing with a clean engine bay!

nice work.

Yeah I haven't had time to sand down the H yet. That'll be my next step. Then probably paint the exhaust manifold shield flat black.

One step at a time

i striped all the paint off with auto paint removal and had a shop powerder coat it for me. it does look much better with the dc sports header too.

I have mine done....did it awhile ago, but just has kinda sat in my garage due to pure laziness. How much does the gasket cost that you need to replace during install and what do you tourqe the bolts down to? I've heard they are pretty easy to break when your putting them back on. Thanks!

Oh BTW, cover looks great. Nice job!
