my airmix motor is still going strong, works pretty well hot to cold. but if you guys are having problems with the blower too it makes me wonder if we're hooking it up wrong. i followed the wiring diagram and also only have it working at none or full blast (even though the full blast is only like 3/4 power)

Mine works on all speeds. Turns out that I had some loose wires inside that I forgot to secure. Digital OWNS!!!!! And I like the way the fan changes speeds, like a light bulb with a dimmer switch - gradual increase.

Hien and Slick: I'd be more than happy to help you guys install it. Just let me know

ok, gave up on getting the motor to work the right way. ill live with it backwards. problem i am having now is when i hook the sensors up (lt grn/red goes to all sensors and airmix motor) the air mix motor stop functioning properly. i un hook the sensors and it works again. anybody else have this problem? anybody else try and hook up the sensors? i also need to know what wire from the old usdm harness goes to the ac switch. i know the blue/yellow from the jdm goes to it. ugh. wish i had a helms.

AC signal would be BLU/YEL from JDM harness to BLU/RED #1 on USDM harness.

SWEETNESS!!! I have to re-do my front suspension components, first, and pay for my headswap parts, but after that, I'll focus on getting ALL of the climate control parts. Where did you get your airmix motor & all of the other parts from? Sorry for not searching, but it's literally impossible to follow all threads when you work full time...

I got the whole conversion parts from a fellow Luder here on PO.com. He was supposed to install it to his car but never had the time to hook it up, so I bought it off of him.

Yeah, I figured I'll have to do quite a bit of work to find the whole list of parts needed. Once I do, I'll definately give you a PM, or something. I need to luck out and find those parts as well as the JDM fogs for 4th gens...

ok, still having problems getting the ac to engage. hooked the blue/yel wire to the blue/red and hit ac on and nothing happened. what else do i need to connect? i have the jdm therestat sensor hooked up. i didnt unplug the usdm therestat. do i need to do that? you said connect the two wires for the usdm thermostat together but there are 3 wires going to it. unless you mean at the actually thermostat itself. ugh. its really hot down here now and i need this thing to engage the ac soon.

There's only 2 wires that goes to the USDM thermostat.
1. Unplug those 2 wires from the thermostat and short them.
2. Then connect the evap temp sensor to your JDM unit.
3. Connect that one AC wire we were talking about to your JDM unit.
4. Your AC clutch should engage provided you have all 4 speeds functioning on your blower if not, the clutch won't engage if it's only full speed or no speed.

You also need to run a wire from your speed sensor (Orange wire) and connect it with the Orange wire on the JDM unit. If not there's a possibility of frying your JDM unit.

Reason behind that: Although I haven't proved this one yet but when I was running over 80 mph, my blower ceased to function normally. My blower used to function on all 4 speeds, but after that it only blows at full speed or no speed at all. Also the buttons on the JDM unit doesn't light up at night anymore (they used to). Looks like I need a new unit and that's $50 down the drain

This is interesting... I haven't connected the wire to the VSS yet and my 4 fan speeds are working. Though I haven't had a chance to try A/C since the system is empty and I'll have to convert to R-134a since I had R-12 in it before. My lights don't all light up at night either, the recirculate, mode, fan and A/C don't come on at night, sometime they do but very rarely.

Also for those wondering I played a bit with the Accord air mix motor but it doesn't work well, I can only set the temp to full hot or full cold so I'm gonna try to get a JDM air mix motor. Though I have to keep some money for my new tires when they get here in a few weeks so it'll have to wait, unless someone wants to donate a JDM air mix motor...

i have an extra jdm motor but i think its blown. i have a contact if you need another one. just let me know.

i hope i dont have to connect the orange wire because my VSS doesnt work either. i also noticed there are like 3 or 4 wires coming from my usdm harness that arent used still. there is a thick blue/red wire. whats this for. im going to go try and short the thermostat now, see if that works. i noticed my ac fan is turning on now when the engine gets really hot. i am hoping that is a good sign.

Damn...seems like everybody's spending a grip to get these things working correctly, after they work correctly for a little while.
