is my clutch pedal supposed to be this weird?

i just replaced my clutch today after i burned it... and pressing down on my clutch pedal is weird and its easier to stall.... its stiff till i push it down an inch then it goes down really easy and fast.... before the new clutch i was able to push the clutch down evenly steady ...is the clutch pedal supposed to change that way after u replace a clutch? and what would the reason be my speedometer wasnt working after midas put in my clutch? i left my car again so they can fix it but yea just wondering....thx guys.. i put in my ngk iridiums and new wires and dist cap and rotor and my car has a crazy deep bass rumble.... its awesome..i read somewhere in the forum that some people need to pump the clutch pedal? is that my problem? thx

check your slave cylinder for fluid. loss of fluid could be loss of pressure to the clutch. than you gotta bleed the lines and put more fluids in

sounds like you still have air in your lines, bleed it out and possibly change the slave cylinder

did you get a performance clutch or is it oem? If it's performance it wil grab the gears easy hence making it easier to stall...

depending on the style of clutch you get will change how the pedal will feel. It sounds like either they didn't align it correctly or the throwout bearing is screwed up.
