Just regular driving it stalled twice and took a couple minutes to start back up. I hydrolocked my car a week ago so could it be my motor crapping out? Also when i was racing last night like the engine locked up at 7k for some reason but vtec hit fine. like it wasnt the rev limitor or anything it just seized up and wouldnt go any faster until i let off??

Ierno Im sure it wouldn't hurt though and you said water spurted out on your gf's dad from the plugs right? It would be a good idea to change it cuz oil+water don't mix.
Yes i already changed the oil the other day. And yes i always have gotten a CEL when the motor got warm enough but nothing out of the ordinary.. I dont know why it stalled like that.

well it was a GSR I drove and vtec engaged still even with the vss broken. Mine has yet to go out so I don't know about a H but I thought they would be the same.
Maybe you should check what the CEL is. That might be something to fix first. As far as it stalling, you may have done something to your engine after all. Have you been able to do a compression test yet? The tester is $25 at Sears.
Okay, the first step in any troubleshooting is "Fix the obvious problems first!" Don't go hunting for hidden problems when you have a CEL stareing you in the face. Jump the service connector and read the code, fix what it says. Then run a conpression check to verify that you don't have a bent rod. After that you can move on to other possible causes.
Find out if there is another code. There is a chance it could be O2, Map, so many things can cause this. I thought you ran the code and still no luck, since you didn't find that out first. To run it just jump the two wires behind your radio in a yellow clip, and count the number of times it blinks, (long ones are 10 and shorts are 1- didn't know if you knew).
