my car died on my today....

Well heres the story:
On my way home after chilling with my friends my car stalled and died on me right smack in the middle of the road. I tried turing it on several times but nothing....I called my friends and came to my aide right away, I called AAA for a tow truck. My friend's dad who works for a Nissan Dealership as an mechanic also came to check my car..It seems that my car was overflowing with fuel inside my engine plus other major damages. He said it will cost me about 3000 dollars to fix everything, which means I might as well buy a new engine. It was so embrassing, right in the middle of the road. I just bought this car too, a 1992 Prelude Si, but the problem is, it already had 200,000 miles on it when i bought it. But i wanted the lude really bad, so there for i bought it. My friend's dad said we could try to put a V6 in my car but I rather stick to the original H23A engine which 4th gens come with. And here's another story, my friend who bought an integra today came to my aide and he got hit by a damn suv! We were both in pain in our hearts as our cars suffered such damages..We both guessed that it was the cursed intake we put in our car couple days ago just to hear what it was like with an intake in our car. This intake has jinxed all my friends who had put it in their cars: it died on a civic, totaled a mustang, died on my lude, totaled an integra, damaged a front bumper of an integra, blew the transmission in my friend's van, tore up the Lincoln LS...sigh, the intake itself did not do the damage, but there's a curse on that thing and I know it.. we're burning that stupid intake as soon as possible...

i wanna cry now, my car's dying....my lude, my first car, my baby

2500-3000. I don't know how you could have caused 3000 of damage to your h23. I full rebuild shouldn't be that much.

Re: my car died on my today....

dude that sucks ass man, horrible. an H22 longblock costs 1100 before shipping from www.hondamotorsonline.com and you should be able to use your H23 tranny (assuming its working well), then all you need is an ecu and you are good to go...good luck man
