My brakes SUCK!!

Okay, I need someone to help me out. My brakes GO ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR? I mean, I can stop okay, but if I stay on the brakes, the pedal just keeps going and going, until it's on the floor. Can anyone guess?

That sounds like the problem. Also check your brake fluid, might be low.

Yeah, aftermarket brake kit would be great!...... If I only had the money.

So guys, how do let the air out of the lines if this is the case?

take it to a brake shop. They won't charge you hardly anything.

And if you are cute enough they will do it for free

Yea prelude555 is right. Same thing happened to mine. Get your master brake cylinder replaced.

Well, I checked the fluid level today, and it was quite low. I filled it up. Didn't make a difference. I guess all that's left to bleed it.

Do you have drum brakes in the rear? If so, make sure they are adjusted properly. The brake shoes in the rear are not self adjusting like the brake pads in the front, so as they wear, the pedal will go down further until you have the rear shoes adjusted to bring the pedal back up. Also, you said that the brake fluid was low, so make sure you check for brake fluid leaks in the brakng system. If you are positive that there are no leaks and the rear shoes (if you have rear drum brakes) are adjusted properly, then chances are you have a bad brake master cylinder like the other guys said.

Well, my next door neighbor is the #1 Honda Mechanic in the U.S. five years running, and I've known him all my life, so I'm pretty sure I could get a NICE discount. I do on everything else.
