My BB4 Project

Here are a few pics of the car when i bought it along with the progress, almost finished. It's a BB4 import 2.2 vtec that is a lightweight model, lsd gerbox and i think 190bhp standard.

The hidden damage

Few goodies i bought

The Result

Congrats on the purchase. Should replace your power steering cooler before it rusts through and leaks fluid. Also, 5-lug brake rotors on a 4-lug car?

Ye sorry i replaced the cooler when i had the bodywork at the front done. As for the brakes don't worry, i was sent the wrong ones and had the right ones sent out but it was the only pic i had of the discs before they went onto the car.

Well the BB4 part is the model number. BB1 & BB4 are similar i think they are both 92-96. Difference is the BB4 is the jap version lightweight model, lsd gearbox as standard & around 200bhp.

Ye got the car very cheap because the owner had hid the rear of a jeep so bonnet, headlight & rad needed replaced. It was then left sitting in their garden in a mess for 2 years until i bought it. All fixed and the upgrades doen and the car is flying with no problems at all.

Supposed to be around 1200kg's where as the standard model is about 1400kg's. One thing is there is no sunroof so that's a start. Anyone else know what makes it lighter?

Got it was n polished other day before taking it out for a run, along with my other cars.

The missing sunroof is what makes it lighter.
I would kill to have a rear wiper, visibility sucks in the rain without it.

Did you cut the Tenzo intake? That's not a cold air intake like the box says.
