My 93 Si Vtec Turbo build, EX - Accord turbo owner

yea my post is long but I got pics you can check out at the bottom. Sorry for the long thread...

I have owned two 6th generation accords, a 2001 and a 2000 accord ex coupe. The one was a lease and after an accident I decided to get another accord (my 2000 that I have now) and just swap the parts over to it. Both were great cars. I had Tein SS coilovers, Tanabe stainless steal catback system, Konig Rated R 18" wheels with Yok AVS ES100 tires and a few other small mods. I would say the best thing that I ever did to the accords was adding the FMAX turbo kit, WOW. BUT I have had some bad luck with rings on the motor so I went stock with my current accord and its now forsale.

Back in NOV of 2004 I picked up a 1993 Honda prelude Si from a lady who was about to trade it in the next day for a 2004 Civic SI. She only wanted $2500, look at the pics, the car is amazing! Would you guess it now has 189k on it? I bought it with the intention to mod it and of course all of the good stuff. Enough typing sorry for the long post, here is my plans built BOOSTEd h22!

Non of these parts have actually been installed yet, have most of the suspension parts. My plan is to reach about 320whp.

TEIN HA Coilovers
Nuespeed front and rear sway bars
Camber kit
Volk TE37 17"s gunmetel with polished lip Im thinking
Yokahoma AVS ES 100 tires
Not sure of the strut tower bar yet
EBC Front and rear Cross drilled rotors (good price, do the job)
HAWK HPS Brake Pads (these things are amazing!)
OEM Gaskets/seals
OEM timing belt
OEM water pump
OEM Oil pump? (not sure car has 185K on it)
ARP head studs
H23 Crankshaft
H23 Eagle Rods
Mahle 9.0:1 Comprssion forged Pistons
Maxrev manifold
Maxrev downpipe
Garrett G35 series turbo?
Tial wastegate (not sure what size yet)
HKS Bypass valve
Custom Intercooler piping
Spearco Front Mount (not sure of size right now)
FMU
Walbro 255 fuel pump
VAFC version 2
440cc Injectors (or bigger)
2 step colder spark plugs
MSD Ignition wires

My Accord (which is now bone stock and up forsale)

If you want more pics of my accord I have both my 2001 and my 2000 accord on my site

good luck with the build. Saying that honestly since i've seen alot of people put alot of $ into building their car and have it go down the drain.

Im starting over, Im selling my accord turbo kit, the accord wheels , suspension and exhaust buying all new parts. This time since I am building the motor for boost and tunning it correctly I hope to have it last. www.slickmotorsports.com will build the car, he does pretty good work. Sport Compact MAG and Modifer (think thats the name) wrote an article about him once for his custom prefab work he did on a WRX.

Your right about that, Everyonce in awhile I see a 5th gen prelude and still think about starting off with a newer car and modding it. But everytime I look at my budget it looks like the best way is to just keep my prelude and make it really freaking fast since i only paid $2500 for it.
