My 93 Si is almost at 80Kmiles , time for TUNE-UP!

so far i have only the spark plugs. i bought NGK iridium lX, cost me $40 .... im getting everything aftermarket (if available) , i already found NGK spark plug wires. i need to know if MSD or any company besides Honda makes modified distributor cap&rotor ? im for sure im getting the AEM fuel filter , AEM intake (instead of just changing the filter element) , Mobil 1 10/30 Oil , K&N oil filter..well i just recently changed my oil like 25 miles ago .. i'll change it anyway...what else? oh yeah i should check ALL my belts damn especially the timing belt.

if your timing belt hasn't yet been replaced, do it. Also, replace all other belts, power steering, alternator...

Timing belt, tensioner belt, accessories belts (get from Honda)

Water pump (get from honda)

Spark plug wires, spark plug (aftermarket)

Oil, oil filter, transmission oil (your choosing)

distributor cap, rotor (honda)

Air filter

Change power steering fluids, brake fluids

Other things to consider:

Check your brake pads, rotors

Lube up areas that are moving

I think that's it.
Hope that helps

I thought that you only needed to get tune-ups at every 15K miles. Is 80k a recommended tune-up point as well? Also, when do timing belts need to be replaced on Ludes?

actually, the BIG tune-up is at 90,000, but it doesn't hurt any to do it a bit early.

the transmission drain plug is kinda behind the right front wheel, turn the wheel all the way to the right and you should see it, it is a magnetic plug, so any metal gunk in yout transmission will be stuck to it, remember to clean it off before you put it back. All info courtesy of luder4lyfe's dad
