my 5 bolt conv. parts..all 4-$250 aaah

just really happy at the price i got all my parts for...all calipers/rotors/hubs/knuckles...he even though in the upper control arms all for $250 plus $100 shipping

is this what other people paid...cause that's dam cheap!

www.importautosalvage.com

just thought i'd share this with ya....got the SH rims...put up a pic this weekend after i paint the calipers and put everything together....

so this whole conversion is gonna cost me $1000 canadian that's with the sh rims that i paid $350cad for.

just letting you guys know, it's a very affordable mod, and one you should be very happy with...now that you can put so many more styles of rims on...have fun

what are the advantages of 5 lug in comparison to 4 lug?

edit: besides being able to put a few different types of rims on your car

A guy local is tryin to sell base rims for really cheap. $75 for one set and like $200 for the other. I was thinking of picking them up for possibly use in the future....but just have too many others things to put that $75 towards right now.

Are you guys all really just doing this for a larger rim selection?

wait wait... $75 for 2 or 4?? Ah hell.. regardless, I want that $75 set. I need a set of drag rims. Maybe I could send you the money and I could get them from you at LFW?

If I do it its because I like the 5gen rims and think they look sick on the 4gen ... it's about the same price for a set of aftermarket rims for our cars... and its 16" so still a comfy ride ..

mostly, its because we are being irresponsible with our money and not putting it towards a house .. or student loans .. or jewelry for our girlfriends ... or clothes ... but its much more satisfying in the short term to look at our cars after completing a project and sayin "kew .. i did that " .. and all the props from prelude sites when posting photo's after we're done

i was thinking about this today, is not another advantage the brake up grade? if you have a S or Si and you do the 5 lug swap, you are also upgrading to better brakes as well. correct?

I did it because I was bored...I needed new pads/rotors and rubber anyway and the whole deal with rims and rubber cost $400

I might be wrong, but with the conversion you can also install big brake kits that aren't available for 4th gens, but are for 5th gens, such as AEM, Rotora etc.

I like the part about not buying girlfriends jewelery, and stuff... Basically, I like it b/c your car won't cheat on you, and, for the most part, won't let you down as much as a girl could/would.

Upgrade is possible without going to the 5 lug setup.

yeah, but what about those big brake kits which include bigger calipers, they most for the prelude are offered for the 5th gen only, what's the difference that makes is applicable only for the 5th gens?

I edited your picture so that it would show up. For future reference remove the orig.jpg from the address if it is from Imagestation and the picture will show up.
