Mugen ECU

The ECU i am running in my car is an original MUGEN ecu/chip (purchased from a jdm importer along with my engine)....the only problem is, i cant find anything on the web about it..... ie. vtec crossover / redline ... i know that most aftermarket ecu/chips let you rev to 9k, but what would you need in order to rev to 9k safely? considering my jdm h22 is bone stock.

on a sidenote, i actually got the mugen ecu by accident. I went to pickup my jdm h22a and was promised an ecu. they were out of stock except for a mugen ecu imported from japan. they gave it to me for the same price as a stock jdm p13 ecu ($250) because they promised me an ecu. so i am assuming that it is real.

The mugen ecu is set up for a race style engine with individual throttle bodies and really advanced timing and I think you will get bad milage with it. You would have to redo your valve train and get new cams first if you want to rev higher and actually make any power up there. Second you might want to destroke the engine or have it rebuild and balanced with better parts.
