MSD 8.5mm Spark Plug wire set impressions.

I replaced my 2 month old junk wires with a set from MSD, first thing I did was test the resistance between the two wire sets, for this I used the coil wire (after making the MSD one exact same length)

The wire I was running ohm'd out @ 4300 ohms whereis the MSD ohm'd out @ 97 ohms, by the way the aftermarkets I was using were 7mm not 8.5 like the MSD's, don't recall which brand, something generic/autozone OEM replacement type

Now after driving the car I can say that it's much more rev happy, or feels this way anyway, not that I could say it makes more power but it definately feels better, espically up high.

I recommend anyone who is planning on doing a wire set soon strongly consider the MSD from summit racing for about 70$ shipped!

P.S. Don't tell me the stock Honda/NGK wires are better either, plain and simply they can't be.

no "stock" or typical "aftermarket" wire can offer 50 ohms of resistance per foot, period.

less resistance == cleaner electricity path!

I don't understand all of that but you convinced me! Haha I think I'll go with those instead of the NGK wires, but I'll still get their plugs.

I have the wires and i love them. It defaintly felt like vtec hit harder. I went with NGK plugs and MSD 8.5 wires.
