Motorized Folding Mirrors????

Just checking to see if anyone has bought a pair of JDM folding mirrors and actually installed them. Would love to find the wiring diagram but I don't understand Japanese.

I got some off ebay and installed em. i didnt find them too functional. just cool to watch and see reactions. i used this site to help me do the install http://students.washington.edu/markpaco/mirrors.htm. he said some wires were reversed on the harness, but he installed the mirrors on his civic. the prelude wires are the same.

i just bought my jdm folding mirrors off ebay about a week ago for $70 from jdmpartz. i also asked for my color and he had black so i was in luck.

i should get them just after the new year. when i get off my lazy ass and get them installed i'll make sure to write up a little report. i'm thinking i'll just get them to fold in when i arm my alarm and then fold out when i disarm the alarm. hopefully it'll work

the mirrors don't adjust fully for the left hand driver. and the magnification is off - hard to explain. no big deal.

ebay is the best place, unless you have a hook-up in japan.

So what your saying is you hooked up the relay the same way he did and then modified the mirror connector and that worked?

my brother did all the electrical work. i took the door panels off, ran the wire, and and actually screwed in the mirrors. he didn't have any problems though.

Yep. Your drivers mirror is someone's ex-passenger mirror. That's why I haven't bothered to get them.

I want to get them but I don't know of anyone who is selling these as a set with the mirrors, switch, and relay. If I could find that, I would definitely buy them!
